Design of internal water supply and sewerage networks

The project of the internal water supply and sewerage system is carried out in accordance with DBN V.2.5-64:2012 "Internal water supply and sewerage. Part 1 Design. Part 2 Construction.“, according to the technology of the equipment manufacturer and taking into account the wishes of the customer.

The project of the water supply and sewerage system includes:

• Hydraulic calculation;
• Explanatory note;
• Selection of a water heater (boiler) and (or) heat exchanger for hot water supply;
• Selection of pumps;
• Selection and placement of collector nodes;

• Routing water risers and pipelines;
• Floor plans with the arrangement and binding of plumbing fixtures, collector assemblies, pipelines (indicating the brand of equipment and sizes);
• Axonometric diagram of a water supply system;
• Connection diagram of the collector node;
• Specification of equipment and materials;
• Calculation of the volume of water supply (water consumption) and wastewater;
• Selection of drainage pumps (if necessary);
• Routing sewer risers;
• Floor plans with the arrangement and binding of plumbing fixtures, pipelines (indicating the brand of equipment and dimensions);
• Axonometric diagram of the sewage system;
• Specification of equipment and materials;

The design of the water supply and sewerage system is usually carried out in conjunction with boiler house design and heating system design.

Necessary technical conditions for the design of internal water supply and sewerage systems:

• Locations of bathrooms on floor plans;
• Locations of plumbing fixtures and drains;
• Suggested places for laying water risers;
• Estimated number of users of the DHW, cold water system;
• Desired/required pressure in the water supply system;
• Points of entry of the water supply into the house, indicating the technical characteristics: pressure, diameters, pipe material;
• The presence and volume of the pool;
• Points of entry of sewerage into the house, indicating the diameters, pipe material;
• Type of building sewerage system: autonomous, central;
• Type of water supply and sewerage system of the building: autonomous, centralized (existing or planned).

Design of external water supply and sewerage systems

Documents required to obtain technical conditions:

• A letter of application addressed to the director of the organization that supplies water (for Kyiv - PJSC "Kyivvodokanal") an example of a letter;
• Questionnaire filled out by the design organization and the customer with seals; (3 copies)
• Calculation of water consumption and water disposal in accordance with current standards, certified by the design organization and the customer; (3 copies)
• A copy of the document that confirms the ownership (or right of use) of the customer to the object, a copy of the document, which confirms the ownership (or the right to use) the land plot;
• Reference on the actual water consumption and water disposal of the object (only for objects of reconstruction);
• Plan on a scale of 1:2000 showing the building to be connected to the water supply and sewerage networks;
• A completed form with payer details.

After receiving the technical specifications, we can calculate the cost of design work, taking into account the implementation of geodetic and geological surveys, coordination with all interested authorities. Development of a project for connection to water supply and sewerage networks is being carried out based on DBN.
